A puppy's salvation.
OK. So the news was that she has a nasty infection from an anal gland rupture (gross!) and needs surgery. For right now, they just cleaned them out and put her on antibiotics. She also needs some pretty expensive meds for arthtritis. So, I opted for both. She's going to be OK!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know why the stinking nurse made it sound so dire. I guess some people wouldn't go through the expense and just put their dogs down. But my baby is worth every penny. Even if I do have to go the mac and cheese route for awhile ; ) It's better than feeling the way I did yesterday.
