The Asia episode.
Wildrosie (who I have read is in the hospital and needs tons of good thoughts and prayers!!!) informed me that the porn postcard I received was from Asia Carerra, who is no longer in porn, but a stay at home mom with a toddler and a newborn. Her husband died in a car crash about a month ago.
Poor thing is desperately afraid that she will not be able to support her two kids, and is heartbroken over the loss of her lifemate.
Now I fell a little guilty for not calling the number on the card...
Anyway, go check out her website, her name dot com. The details are there. What really kicked it for me was when she stated that she couldn't go back to porn, because the babies changed her body too much, and she's too huge.
So, a couple years ago, she was attractive enough to make money, but now that she's had kids, she's repulsive? Fuck that. I want to campaign for a new porn career for Asia with her new body. How about that? I'd even buy the videos, not so much to use them, because it would probably be stupid man porn, but just to support her and her family, and the fact that no matter how much her body has changed, she is still desirable. Its about time somebody revolutionized this society's images of beauty and sensuality. Asia just might be the woman to do it.
Besides all that, how many of us know how hard it is to find someone who resonates to your very soul, enough that you want to be with him for the rest of your life? I know I'm strong, and independant, and yes, absolutely, I'd rather be single than settle, but that doesn't mean I don't want what Asia and her husband had. I do. So, if you're so fortunate to have found your soulmate, take time to honor what you have and be grateful to whatever powers that made it happen, inside and out.
And keep Asia in your thoughts and prayers. She's in an ugly, bad place.
